The Woman Behind the Titles
“We are capable of more. We can hold our babies and our big ideas. We can run households and businesses. We can care for others and our own goals.”
I’m a mother. A physician. An entrepreneur. A world traveller. And I do it all – without apologies. We don’t have to shrink to fit into anyone’s expectations. When we expand, when we live within our purpose, everyone wins.
As women, we’re constantly told to choose. Be a mother or be ambitious. Have a career or have a family. We’re sold a story that tells us motherhood cancels out all other goals; that there isn’t room for more. But we exist beyond projected limitations. And the truth is, we can have it all.
A 2024 study conducted by the National University of Singapore found that positive maternal well-being is linked to healthier brain development in their children. What this tells us is that when we thrive, so do our kids. But thriving doesn’t happen when we’re following someone else’s script.
“I’m not juggling identities. I’m embodying them. Motherhood, medicine and entrepreneurship.”
Your titles don’t have to compete; they can collaborate. My journey is proof that our versatile capabilities don’t hold us back. They empower us to reach further than ever before.

My Petite Coco is Canada’s first and only baby skincare brand formulated by a physician-mom.

Inspired by my daughter, and unable to find safe and nourishing products for her skin and hair, I set out to create them myself. Drawing on my medical background and my lived experience as a Black woman, I wanted to create a collection that upheld the needs of all babies.
Every My Petite Coco product is clinically tested and formulated by yours truly to ensure every baby gets the skincare best suited for them.
